BTW, if you're an unemployed loser like me, Sanford and Son airs weekdays on TV Land at 9 am, and just may provide that extra "umph" you may need to drag yourself out of bed before noon. Try to forget that you're only getting up to watch a rerun of a show that you were too lazy to Tivo, and that the reason you generally sleep until noon (ish) is that you're usually up 'til 3 in the morning watching hogan's heros. Give yourself extra credit for not eating that entire block of cheese in front of the TV. Then you can reward yourself with a grilled cheese. And, yes, wiping the george forman grill does count as "getting something done," even if you still leave it on the counter. Unfortunately, moving one or more piles of laundry from one part of your filthy apartment to another does not--unless you sort it by color.

- Two words come to mind: "angry" and "lazy"--three if you count "very." There's a good balance between anger and laziness, since I am both very angry and very lazy. But it's not all yin and yang (or "good in the 'hood," as the kidz on the myspace say); even in balance there is no harmony. For example, I often find myself very angry, but not quite angry enough to do anything about it, being both equally angry and lazy. Even if I get very very angry I automatically balance the equation by being very very lazy. And sometimes I get angry just because I'm lazy. Clearly, balance in the universe is way overrated. At times like this I want to punch Stephen Hawking in the mouth. [Oh, and full disclosure: I'm not really a cowboy. Did you even SEE "The 'Frisco Kid?"]
